We are hearing complaints that some people are putting their grass clippings out too early. Please wait until Wednesdays (after dark) or, preferably, Thursday mornings. Also, several residents have noticed grass clippings and shrub trimmings having been dumped in the community park. Please stop this activity.
The Board has begun assessing late fees on those residents who have not paid their dues yet. Please make every effort to pay your dues on time. If you have a problem making a payment, notify Walter Hoffman and arrange a payment schedule.
Well, the entrance road has been saw-cut for several weeks now with no apparent start date. Hopefully they are just waiting for several days of fair weather to begin.

Please take a moment to say thanks to Kim Lightcap and my wife Theresa for their work planting flowers at the entrance sign. We should all appreciate the unsolicited effort and the fact that some of our neighbors take a great deal of pride in how our community looks, not to mention that they pay for these improvements themselves.

With less than perfect weather, the yard sale seemed to go off without a hitch. We seemed to have quite a few households participating, and it looked like Good Will was filling up their truck with donated items.
Stay tuned for a date for a possible Fall yard sale.
Please note the following holiday trash pick up dates:
Welcome John and Candy Miller who recently moved into 3280 Brockton Drive. They come to Copperfield from Walkersville, and say they love our community.
Welcome Sheri & Chris White with their children, Lauren (age 7), Becca (age 5), Sarah (age 14), the dog Sandy, and Magic the cat. They moved to 3511 Brockton Court from Farmbrook.
